The j.v. cheerleaders had a great
year from the very beginning. Even
during the summer, they were very
successful. The entire team was nomi
nated for All American. Although
there were only seven cheerleaders
that finished out the year, the squad
had just as many accomplishments as
the other squads that had twice as
many members. When asked what
competition surprised her the most,
sophomore Lisa Tostenson said, "Our
River Cities competition was prob
ably the most interesting , as well as
stressful! We had one girl get sick the
night before, so we had to change our
formations the morning before the
competition. Even with all of those
changes, and without one of our
squad members, we were still able to
