In every sport there are highs and
then som e low s. The girls varsity
basketball season w as filled with a —
lot of highs and not so m any low s.
N ot only did the girls have to adjust
to new coaching styles, but they w ere
also faced with a schedule filled with
ranked opponents. The team w as led
by seniors Jessie Stehlik, Jenny
Stehlik, K atie Bojanski and Lindy
Kilzer. One of the highlights of the
season w as in the N ebraska Prep
C lassic Tournam ent w hen the girls'
hard w ork paid off by beating
O m aha Skutt and advancing to the
cham pionship gam e. "B eating Skutt
in the holiday tournam ent and
playing in a cham pionship gam e w as
one of the m ost exciting parts of the
season," said senior Jessie Stehlik.

w as Keri Johnson. N ext year the
Ram s are returning eight letterm en
and hopefully w ill have an even
m ore successful year. Coach Kelli
G rote w rote, "T h e effort, hard w ork
and heart of this team and that of the
girls com ing back next year will only G et up, Lou! Senior
m ake us a better team next year and Lindy K ilzer goes for the
in years to com e." Even though the lay up during the first
