The Field Hockey team showed great im­
provement over last year, finishing the
season with a 5-7 record. After a week of hard
work at camp, the girls started their season
only to pile up six heartbreaking losses. The
losing streak came to an end with the game
that was the highlight of the season—the
game against Maple Point, because it was the
team s first win. There was only one loss in
the last six games of the season.
Coach Marlene Emsley and Captains
Michelle Turk and Janet Herman feel that the
team had a good season, and everyone is
looking forward to an even better year next
year.
