The Wilson Cross-Country and Track
Team were in training when most other
Wilson students were still on vacation last
summer. Working under the direction of Mr.
Cohen, the team was preparing for the big
track meets that were to come.
                Donald Billingsley established two
school records in the mile and 1,000 run. He
          participated in the State Championships,
where he came in 13th out of the 150 who
were in the race. By doing so, he qualified for
          the Eastern Championships, consisting of
          participants from Maine to Virginia.
This was the first year that girls par
ticipated in Cross-Country, and they fared
well, playing against the men in all com
          petitions.
Michelle Williams as 27th in All Lower
Bucks, while Beatrice Webb ranked in the top
          30. Dwayne Snelling placed 3rd in the 50, in
          spite of fierce competition.
