Broadcasting—AV
The primary function of WWHS
is to provide Wilson’s students and
faculty with information regarding
the day-to-day operation of the
school.
From a small room located
near the auditorium stage,
dedicated students turn into disc
jockeys and news reporters each
morning for a few minutes.
Sometimes, these disc jockeys
volunteer to help out at school
dances.
The broadcasting instruction
that the club members receive from
Mr. Martin, the club moderator, will
be a decided plus in case they
decide to pursue a career in broad
casting.

The A-V staff performs a
valuable service for teachers and
students alike. It is their function to
see to it that movie projectors, slide
projectors, tape recorders, etc., are
delivered to the classrooms when
they are needed.
Under the direction of Mr.
Hopely, this club also provides its
members with instruction on how
to use all of the equipment that it
delivers.
At inventory time—which is
every day—all of the equipment
must be accounted for. Who is
responsible for checking in the
equipment? The A-V staff!
