dents in Christian schools who have grown up with a head full of
Biblical knowledge, but they never put the knowledge into practice.
The Drama Team's goal was to deal with common issues that teens
and junior high students are dealing with today. The theme of the
program focused on the truth that Christians have the responsibility to
confront, in love, their friends who are living in sin before it is too late.
Dan Thompson wrote the script which centered around four Christian
friends. Throughout the story, three of the friends realize that their
friend Jason is making wrong choices, yet they never try to help until
it is too late. Dan Thompson said, "Between the editing and rewriting
of the script it was a labor of love, and I am so humbled that we could
minister to so many students."
Members of the team consisted of three veteran members and
one new member all under the direction of Dr. Melissa Cancel. The
team began rehearsing at the end of August and had their first per
formance on September 21. The team traveled to Christian schools
in Central Florida, West Palm Beach, Miami, and other neighboring
areas. Reflecting on his past years as a member of the team, Josh Gal- During the production,
