Homecoming week seemed to be THURSDAY:
one of the crazier times during the COWBOY/COWGIRL DAY. The
school year. halls were filled with cowboy hats,
The mock Olympics were not belts, jeans, and boots, as everyone
held because of problems that displayed his spirit.
arose the previous year. The FRIDAY: PUNK OUT DAY. You
administration felt that the classes name it, you saw it on punk out
got too rowdy and that there was day, which was the last day of
too much class competition, but Homecoming week.
the students showed much SNAKE DANCE. Hundreds of
enthusiasm without the Olympics. students ran, snaked, and skipped
MONDAY: SWEATS DAY. The down Main Street in Ralston, led
school was like a physical fitness by Ralston's band and the varsity
center as students walked through football team. The snake ended
the halls suited in warm-ups. where a bonfire flamed.
TUESDAY: HAWAIIAN DAY. The spirit from Friday at school
Some simply wore lais, others went was carried over to that night
all out in grass skirts and flowered when Ralston defeated Tech 24-0,
shirts. a memorable way to end
WEDNESDAY: DO YOUR OWN Homecoming week.
THING DAY. Each class decided to
              be different. Freshmen wore
Punking out seems to be easy for junior Scott
pajamas, sophomores wore bizarre Zielinski and senior Mark Flora as they show
grubbies, juniors were dressed as off their clothes.

Wild prints and bright colors brought enthu
siasm on Tuesday. Assistant band director
Daryl Stehlik and secretary M ildred Evers
show their school spirit on Hawaiian Day.

Dark glasses were part of the popular punk
