/m » re got off to a good start. The
W first half was one of our best of
the year," said coach Denny Craw
              ford.
                The boys varsity basketball team
ended its season with a 3-15 record.
Despite their losses, the team ma
              tured together.
Doing a lot of individual running,
practices lasting from one to two
hours, and working on team transi
tion drills were only a few of the
ways the team stayed in shape.
The Papillion game was the best,
and a frustrating one, for the Rams.
It was lost withing the last few
minutes, with a score of 47-44.
Fighting back as a team, Ralston
gave Westside a good game. With
              junior Rocky Johnson being their
              leading scorer, the Rams celebrated
that victory with a score of 68-60.
                 Along with inconsistencies on the
court, the varsity basketball team was
              outmatched by their opponents in
              size and quickness. Crawford felt
that by the end of the season the
boys had changed their style and
              were shooting much better.

Charge! Junior Dan Pape and junior Mike
Breuning make their entrance at a home
              game.
Going for two. Junior Rocky Johnson thwarts
              a Benson guard.
