GIRLS' VOLLEYBALL
The Girls’ Volleyball team completed a fine season this year, going
all the way to the District Playoffs before being narrowly defeated in
the semi-finals. Even in defeat, the girls showed good sportsmanship,
and an aggressive will to win. Fortunately, they did not lose often. The
team had a new coach, Miss Gail Lanier, whose last name is well known
to varsity football players. Miss Lanier had no trouble indoctrinating the
team to the winning ways customary to the family tradition.
