The boys’ team was paced by the world’s fastest human-
fish, Andy Coan. Andy was invited to the New Zealand
games in January and responded admirably by winning
four gold medals. At Lawrenceville Andy set a new record
for the 100-yard freestyle, and was timed at 19.2 in his 50-
yard portion of a relay.
Other team leaders included senior captain Bruce Kone,
and Tomas Rengifo.
