Olympian Ann Marshall takes to the blocks.
The Varsity Girls’ team was led by senior
Olympian Ann Marshall and strongly sup
ported by fellow seniors Robin Allbaugh,
Gail Murray, and Lyn Smith. The team did
not lose a dual meet this year, but Coach Nel
son was disappointed in the quality of the
available competition. Other standout girls
included Bonnie Brown, Kathy Scures, and
Dede Crampton.
But Coach, we don’t wanna practice!
