r. Tom Baird presented a workshop

for science and biology students

and others of the College family.

The Institute for Creation Research

served as the inspiration for his

collection. He started it with some basic mod­

els, later adding the larger, to-scale models,

and incorporating additional figures, includ­

ing whales and endangered species as his col­

lection of dinosaurs grew.

God has allowed him to obtain parts of his

collection in many unique ways. His scale

models were made for him free of charge. He

acquired one from a lady who was going to

throw it out. The dinosaur bones, many of

which are casts of the originals, also were dis­

covered in various ways. Some he found in

pawn shops; others he uncovered at digs.

Mr. Baird's presentations deal strictly with

creation and its truth. His lecture "Even the

Rocks Cry Out" explains how fossilized rocks

prove that there was a worldwide flood. He

said, "I show all this to praise God."
