TEACHERS EXTEND
HOPE AND LOVE
WITH EDUCATION.
ow are children going to survive in
the real world if they have no hope?
Taleen Nevokshonoff answers, "I
have received skills and training that
will help me to share my. testimony
in little ways that will offer them a hope."
What is the number one reason for becom
ing a teacher? A concern for children. They
hold the bright promise of the future—a prom
ise which can be enhanced or clouded depend
ing upon the teaching the children receive.
From reading a child's picture book to teach
ing algebra, every education class is designed
to train future teachers how to use that influ
ence wisely.
Constantly being prepared to teach their
students, education majors began by learning
the small things, from the history of education
to the observation of actual classes. "Kids can
be easily influenced, so we have to be good ex
amples," sophomore Farrah Russell stated.
