The Question of the Century: Why Did You Go to Homecoming?
"Because my parents are really rich, and I wanted to show everybody up." - Junior Jenni Jaworski
“I went to Hom ecom ing for one reason ..TO DANCE. I go to dance and that’s all
I do the whole time. I also go to show off my dance steps, and to bust a move. I
also enjoy the interpritive dance part of homecoming. I’ve won that section
every year.” - Senior Jordan Reimer
“I really wanted to go to Hom ecom ing because I knew I’d get to drink lots of
good, fruity punch, and get my hair done. I wanted to paint my toenails so bad,
but my dad had used up all the sunset delight pink enamel. I also got my lashes
elongated.” - Sophomore Steve Watkins
“I went because it’s always been fun in the past.” - Senior Angie Torczon
Angie Torczon, head cheerleader, said that the cheerleading squad decided on
theme and decorated. They picked the theme, “Arabian Nights”, by looking
through magazines and theme books. The decorations consisted of camels
(pretend camels) castles, and gold, purple, black and white stream ers and
balloons. According to Jordan Reimer, the punch was a 50/50 blend of 7-Up and
Hi-C.
