Monkey Trouble

Although they came with

separate dates, Seniors, Jordan

Reimer and Laura Moneke

found the time to steal off and
dance together. Moneke’s

original date was Senior Ben
Murphy while Reimer’s date

was a senior from Gross.

Reimer and his date ate at M’s

Pub, and Jordan commented

that although he drove his

mother’s car, he finally got to

drive himself to a dance.

Those

Crazy Kids

Attending the second dance that they

had been to with each other are

Junior Jennifer Riva and Senior Chad

Bellows. The couple, who had been

together for about nine months at

Homecoming, also attended Criss

Cross the spring before. Riva said

that Bellows really let himself go

that night. “He was dancing like a

freak. Everyone came up to me and

asked if he had been drinking—but he

doesn’t even drink. He was just

having a good time.” Before the

dance they went to the Venice Inn to

eat, and afterward they went to Riva’s

house where they watched

movies and fell asleep.
