Fun facts about the 1 995 graduation:
-It took place on Sunday, May 21, 1995, at 2:00 p.m.
-Three valedictorians: Marissa Lingen, Rachel Pearson and Lewis Stevens, all
gave speeches and were equally honored. Dr. Robert Meyers stated that this
came about due to "unusual circumstances" and "tried to find a way we could
be fair to every student." After ex
tensive research Dr. Meyers and Dr.
KenRippe, superintendent, decided
to award all three the time-honored
award. No salutatorian was named.
-The senior class officers read the
names of each class member instead
Marissa Lingen StewisLevens Rachel Pearson of the principal.
-The class song, "Imagine", by John Lennon, was performed by Carrie Allen,
Mandy Littlejohn, Angela Heim, Marty Martinez, Peter Goecke, Tyler Seever
and Scott Voorhees.
-A gigantic moth devoured two members of the school board in the middle of
the ceremony.
