Many students felt fortunate about
this kind of relationship, but there were
also students who wanted to date
seriously.
“1 feel more secure about going out
with one person because I always have
a date, and when I am dating someone
1 never want to date anyone else,” was
the opinion of one senior.
Parties, movies, concerts, drive-ins,
miniature golf, parking, and restaurants
were common places to go with a
group or with a date.
Whether dating was casual or
serious, friendship was the main
ingredient, and having a good time the
main goal.
P a rties w ere a good tim e to get together with friends to listen to
records, play cards, play pool, or just talk. Senior Connie Krambeck looks

Stead y relation sh ip s were common with students. A steady boyfriend
or girlfriend provided a best friend as well as good company. Juniors Patty
Simeoni and John Rieder enjoy each other’s company while watching the
TH€ Sum Mock Olympics.
