I I mean. It would be a “plus” to
take math courses throughout your
high school years. The courses that are
offered vary from general math to
calculus.
Computer math also is offered to
help students learn how to run and
operate computers. “I am taking
computer math because computers are
coming on strong and I wanted some
background in computers,” said junior
Julie Gray.
You can join many clubs, but has
anyone heard of the math club? The
club meets every month to take the
Atlantic Pacific Math Tests, taken
nationwide by all high school students.
There are six to seven questions on
one test. “Math Club is more of a
learning experience, it helps the
students who are headway into the real
world,” said senior Jon Talamante.
Many students are now taking math
courses throughout their years in high
school. “Preparing for college, I feel
that four years of math are adequate
for getting ready,” said senior Dana
Davenport.
