chance to let people see what we
A could do was why we held a Fine
Arts Festival, May 15. It gave the
creative people at school a chance to
show their stuff.
All the art work done throughout the
year was displayed in the commons.
Anything from hooked rugs or
macrame, to paintings or quiltings was
shown. Stations were also set up
throughout the commons to let people
watch art work being produced.
To top all this action off, there were
people from choirs singing in the midst
of the artists and art work. There were
solos, duets, and quartets during the
show. Later on, everybody went into
the theater for a final choir concert
and an awards banquet to honor all the
outstanding performers throughout the
year.
A fter all the fun of an art show, everything must be picked up
and put away. Ms. Grogan (art teacher) helps her students clean
up the mess.
