C for RHS in the upcoming track
seasons.
Freshmen girls had a conference
champion, Karmin Dulany, who won
the 100 meter and 200 meter dash.
She also set three school records in the
100 and 200 yard dash and one in the
long jump. Julie Handrick was second
in the 800 yard at the conference
meet.
“The team had its ups and downs,
but definitely finished on the up
swing,” said coach Ann Fulkerson,
“with an eighty point finish for a
second place at the conference meet.”
The boys also had a good season,
with Jim Dailey setting a record in the
100 yard dash; Tracy Morey in the
400 yard dash; and the 400 meter
relay of Eric Hallett, Mike Kircher, Bill
Jameson and Jim Dailey breaking the
old record.
“I was very satisfied with the boys’
season,” said coach Davis. “We met all
of our team goals.”
“This team has talent. Some of the
girls are capable of becoming State
Class Champions,” said Fulkerson,” if
they work hard in the varsity program
and continue to improve.”
