Outstanding performers and most

“1 am continually asked to
athletically compare girls’ track with
boys’ football. I enjoy coaching both,
but many girls have not had a great
deal of athletic competition and I enjoy
helping these young ladies to compete
and to believe in themselves,” said
McLaughlin. “Very many girls have
shown excellent concentration, self
belief and success drive to be district
and state champions.”
“Our young people in the girls’ track
program are learning that success
comes only with hard work that if
one wants something, it can be attained
with the correct attitude,” added
McLaughlin.
