The Best in the Midwest

The test of the Fine Arts groups was not only

to maintain the high standards set before them, but

to surpass those standards. The result: the most

successful Fine Arts departm ent Ralston High

School has ever seen.

As the talk of budget cuts loomed overhead,

some feared the Fine Arts might be one of the first

departm ents to go. This did not dampen the spirits

of the Fine Arts clan. It simply m otivated them

even more to prove that Fine Arts are im portant

and should not be cut from the curriculum.

W ith the successes of the drama department,

band departm ent and the vocal music department,

there is no doubt that the Fine Arts at Ralston High

School should be approved to stay, to continue to

provide quality entertainment not only to our school,

but to the com m unity as well.
