#m Outta Here!
After three long years of "quiet"
study halls and noisy cafeteria lunch
periods, approved seniors finally
have the freedom of open campus.
Close your eyes and imagine for a
moment....It’s the middle of the school
day, everyone is in class, and you think
to yourself, “You know, I’d like a taco
right about now.” So what do you do?
You jump in your car and go get a taco.
Can this be possible? Does this re
ally happen at Ralston High School? Or
is this scenario just a figment of imagi
nation?
Amazingly, there are students at
RHS who can leave the building during
m.
the day. These students are seniors who
are privileged enough to have open cam
pus.
In order to have this glorious ad
vantage of getting lunch
and 8th period off, you must
first be a senior (duhh), and
have the necessary paper
work done. To have access
to leave the building dur
ing other periods you must
have six classes, have 180
or more credits, be in your
second semester of atten
dance, plus have at least a
2.8 GPA. All this gets you
outta school free.

hashbrowns during 3rd hour,” Nicole
Baehr said. Some seniors decide to stay
