Mr. RHS: Look at all
the Beautiful People
Senior guys strut their stuff hoping
to win the coveted title of Mr RHS.
The night of Yom Kippur this year
was an exciting night for all, no matter
what your denomination. On this night 18
hot and sweaty senior guys strutted their
stuff for a sold-out crowd of panting girls,
disgruntled boyfriends, and a few embar
rassed parents. This was the long-awaited
1996 Mr. RHS contest.
The 1996 participants included
Siamese twins Jake and Josh Farrell, Jud
the stud Kussman, the ever-so political
Tim Carlson, beastie boy Miah Handley
and, the boy who surprised us all with his
buff bod, Grant Novak. The other pelvis
gyrating contestants included, the menage
a trois of Scott Lacey, Joe Hansler and Jay
Gundy, and g-homey Troy-be-down-with-
me-Antisdel, also Jeremy
Clark, Dana Berth, Adam
Klinker, Marilyn Manson,
Derek Wilson, Zach Bruhn,
Dan Wood, Matt Vashon and
Andy Brock.
For many of the contes
tants this was their first time
on stage. So prancing half
naked in front of their peers
took a lot of courage. Some
contestants suffered massive
attacks of the butterflies back-
stage, while others had no
fears at all.
“When I was first intro
duced I was nervous because I
didn’t know what to expect,”
said Tim Carlson. “But after
the first scene, I got used to it.”
“I wasn’t nervous. I’ve been on stage
before so I’m used to it, the lights were too
bright though,” rapped Miah Handley. Clockwise: Mike D.
