                                       contact back in.

                   Eyes

There are millions and millions of them every
where. Some are blue, some are brown, and in some
stores they are electric. At school, they are known as
eyes. Not everyone has 20/20 vision and, for those
who don’t, glasses or contact lenses are needed.
Sophomore Stephanie Dergan wore glasses since
the sixth grade, and one year ago, she said she
switched to contacts. “I got soft-tinted contacts
because I didn’t like the color of my eyes.” She said
her eyes are normally gray, but her contacts make
them more of an aqua color. “I got contacts because
I don’t like the way glasses look on me,” Dergan said.
Wearing glasses has become habit for Kole
Snodgrass, since he started wearing them two years
ago. He said contacts would be “easier” when he
played basketball, so he wouldn’t have to worry
about having them knocked off. “Sometimes I wish
I had contacts because my glasses are always sliding
            down my nose,” Snodgrass said.
Dergan said there is one thing she doesn’t like
about wearing contacts: taking them out at night.
‘When I am tired, it’s one more thing to do, but I don’t
know what I would do without them.”
