Jeff Loggins attributes success to hard work, positive image

You know those TV commercials where the lawyer promises easy money for anyone
involved in an accident with a big, bad 18-wheeler? Makes your blood boil, don’t they?
Jeff Loggins doesn’t like them either. One particular attorney runs an ad during every
nightly newscast on KAIT-TV in Jonesboro. “He makes it sound horrendous. My wife just tells
me to turn it off. It just makes me so mad when I see it,” he said with a laugh.
Loggins, founder and owner of Jonesboro-based Loggins Logistics, decided getting mad
wasn’t enough. Working with Shannon Newton, the newly appointed president of the Arkansas
Trucking Association (ATA), Loggins produced his own ad bragging not only on his company but
the entire trucking industry and how many Arkansans it employs.
Loggins, a huge Razorback football fan, believes the trucking industry should play more
offense when it comes to its own image, rather than letting ambulance-chasing attorneys and
sensationalist media stories set the tone.
                                                                                                    
