Feature Story
landscape with the valley in all its glory
and Signal Knob Mountain spread across
the background. Just focus on getting
your ball over the pond. A fairway metal
makes for smart play on the twelfth, a
par 4 that reaches over a deep chasm.
Thirteen, an exciting par 5, will give
many long hitters an opportunity to go
for it. Playing strategically normally ends
up with a good scoring chance. Since the Hole 13 Par 5
tough par 4 fourteenth’s fairway slopes
severely, tee shots should favor the right side. I’ve always thought the closing four
holes at The Jack allow golfers the chance to get some lost strokes back. Fifteen and
seventeen, both short par 4s, can be reached. Proper club choice will set up a birdie
putt on the delightful, short sixteenth. A solid drive off the tee on the closing hole
can also possibly be celebrated with a birdie dance.
Jackson’s Chase Golf Course is often described as a course where history and
challenge meet. You can tally well here if you use the right game plan. If not, you
will may chase your golf ball into places not conducive to scoring! Jackson’s Chase
is definitely a piece of the past worth revisiting.
