Clustered Spires Golf Club, located just outside of historic
Frederick, MD, offers golfers everything they need for an
enjoyable day on the course. Built by the city in 1991, this
was Frederick County’s first public golf course. This gem
has been constantly voted as the favorite golf course in
Frederick. Clustered Spires is laid out upon 200 acres
of rolling farmland adjacent to the Monocacy River. The
excellent conditions of the bentgrass greens and plush
rolling fairways provide a venue for golfers of all skill
levels. Clustered Spires received its unique name from
the grouping of five very old, distinct church steeples that
make up the clustered spires of Frederick City’s skyline.
The respected design team of Ault, Clark and Associates
created a fun and challenging competitive course. You can
find one of the best golf values in central Maryland just
minutes from I-70 and a short drive from both Baltimore
and Washington, DC. Clustered Spires Golf Club delivers a
solid golfing experience you will enjoy from start to finish.

A long time favorite in the Baltimore County region for many
years has been Diamond Ridge Golf Course. Lush fairways
and rolling terrain best characterize Diamond Ridge, which
shares a clubhouse and state-of-the-art practice facility
with The Woodlands. The classic Ed Ault design opened
in 1968 and has stood the test of time with outstanding
conditions and challenge. The large and undulating greens
provide an inviting target and will test everyone’s putting
game. The front and back nines are distinctly different.
The former’s open nature has a links feel, while the latter’s
tighter makeup is outlined by mature trees. Both nines
have numerous fairway and greenside bunkers to keep
you honest. Diamond Ridge Golf Course is located just
minutes from Exit 17 off of the Baltimore Beltway and is
easily accessible off I-70 at the Rt. 29 exit. When it comes
to Baltimore Golf, no course cuts it like the Diamond!
