Locust Hill Golf Course in Charles Town claims fame
as one of the top courses in the state of West Virginia.
Locust Hill maintains championship golf conditions with
outstanding bentgrass tees and greens. Playing at just
over 7000 yards from the tips, this facility provides plenty
of challenge. Lakes, ponds, and streams bring 35 acres of
water into play on ten holes. The finishing four holes are
as good as you’ll find anywhere, wrapping up with the 455-
yard, par 4 eighteenth that features a dramatic approach
shot over a large lake. Golf Digest awarded Locust Hill
one of the “Top 125 in Country for Best Value.” The course
handles corporate and charity golf outings. With the
excitement of Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races,
the area has plenty to offer. Golf, Racing, and Gaming
make for the perfect sporting getaway. Locust Hill is located
west of Charles Town off Route 51, a little more than a
beautiful hour’s drive from the Baltimore and Washington
beltways.
