          CP 612-4    Clinical Practice I, II & III
          Prere: CP 610 & CP 611                                          3 Terms; 18 Credits
              At the end of the Clinical Practice programme, students will be able to:
          a)  integrate  theory  with  practice  by  engaging  in  appropriate  case  conceptualization,
              treatment planning, implementing strategies and techniques in a competent  way, and
              appropriately terminating the case using one of the acceptable methods;
          b)  demonstrate  professional  competence  through  participating  in  individual  supervisions
              and case conferences;
          c)   provide case recording and demonstrate competent report writing;
          d)  demonstrate ethical professional practice as a counselling psychologist and be able to
              handle ethical dilemmas with sound clinical judgment that produces the best benefit for
              client(s) who are under their service;
          e)  demonstrate  reflective  knowledge  of  policies,  procedures  and  contexts  of  the  agen-
              cies/institutions  and be able to contribute to  the  planning, establishing, implementing,
              and evaluation of counselling services provided by the practicum agency;
          f)   exhibit sensitivity to multicultural issues and respect for cross-cultural differences in their
              professional practice;
          g)  engage in an on-going process of self-reflection and self-evaluation in their personal and
              professional development; and
          h)  express openness to learning and flexibility in their case management and supervision
              process.

          CP 615    Clinical Practice IV
          Prere: CP 610, CP 611 & CP 612-4                                   1 term; 6 Credits
              This course is an extension of CP 612-4 for students without a Master’s degree recog-
          nized by the Division of Counselling Psychology of the Hong Kong Psychological Association.
          It provides extra-time for students to complete the registration requirements of  Hong  Kong
          Psychological Society. Please refer to CP 612-4 for course descriptions.
