Screw compressor
1. When the rotor is unmesh at the intake end of the
cylinder, air is drawn into the cavity between the
main rotor blades and the secondary rotor grooves.
2. As the rotation continues, the tip of the rotor passes through
the edge of the air inlet, trapping air in the cell formed by the
rotor cavity and the cylinder wall.
