Quick Exhaust Valve

1. Quick exhaust valve is used to maximize the speed of piston by exhausting the air rapidly to atmosphere.
2. In many applications especially with single acting cylinders, it is a common practice to increase the piston
speed during retraction of the cylinder to save the cycle time.

❑ When air flows into port 1, port 3 (exhaust) is blocked,
thus air flow to port 2 which is connected to actuator
