10 March: AMMI Q1 Progress Mee ng and
Networking, Majes c Hotel Kuala Lumpur
Thirty-eight members a ended the Q1 Progress
Mee ng where they were updated on the
upcoming events for 2016 and the AMMI 2020
Strategic Roadmap. This was followed by
presenta ons on the 2016 Healthcare Industry
Outlook by Ms Rhenu Bhuller (Frost and Sullivan)
and the 2015 Investment Performance by Encik
Ahmad Khairuddin (Execu ve Director, MIDA).
AMMI Chairman, Mr Hitendra Joshi then
presented a copy of the 2015 AMMI Annual Report
to Encik Ahmad Khairuddin to signify the release of
the report. A er the mee ng, members and
guests adjourned to Smokehouse Lounge for
networking cocktails.

23 June: AMMI Extraordinary Mee ng (EGM),
27th Annual General Mee ng (AGM) and
Q2 Progress Mee ng, E&O Hotel, Penang
Thirty-three members a ended the AMMI EGM,
27th AGM and Q2 Progress Mee ng. The AGM saw
the re-elec on of Mr. Hitendra Joshi as AMMI
Chairman; Mr. Yap Kee Keong and Ms Ong Yean Ting
as AMMI Directors for the 2016-2018 term. Dato’
Dr Haminnuddin Hj Abd Hamid was also elected to
the Board of Directors during the AGM. This was
followed by the Q2 Progress Mee ng. A er the
mee ng, members listened to presenta ons on
Revised EU Regula ons by Ms Ong Yean Ting and
Na onal Healthcare Internet of Things (ioT) by Dr
Nor Azmi Alias and Dr Khoh Soo Beng from
Collabora ve Research in Engineering, Science and
Technology (CREST). Later, members and guests
adjourned for networking cocktails.
