Thirty-one members a ended the Q3 Progress
Mee ng. The session con nued with an exclusive
Dialogue Session with representa ves from the
Ministry of Health (MOH), Medical Device Authority
(MDB), Malaysian Investment Development
Authority (MIDA) and Ministry of Interna onal
Trade and Industry (MITI). Members also were
briefed on “Strategic Ini a ves under the HRDF
Pool Fund” by the Human Resource Development
(L to R) Y.Bhg. Datuk Phang Ah Tong (Deputy CEO, MIDA), Fund (HRDF) A er the mee ng, all adjourned to
Y.Bhg. Datuk Zainal Amanshah (CEO, Invest KL), Y.Bhg. Datuk N. Smokehouse Lounge for networking cocktails. It was
Rajendran (Deputy CEO, MIDA) and Mr N. Sangaran (Execu ve
Director, MIDA) with Mr Hitendra Joshi (AMMI Chairman) also a farewell cocktail for Ms Ong Yean Ting who
had stepped down from the AMMI Board. Mr
Hitendra Joshi presented Ms Ong with a token of
apprecia on for her contribu ons to AMMI as
Director as well as Leader of the Regulatory and
Technical Commi ee.
15 December: AMMI Q4 Progress Mee ng and Networking, E&O Hotel, Penang
Twenty-seven members a ended the Q4 Progress mee ng. Members
took note of the round up of 2016 ac vi es and planned ac vi es for
2017. This was followed by presenta ons on “Industry Collabora on
with USM and Public Private Research Network (PPRN)” by Associate
Professor Dr Yeoh Fei Yee from University of Science Malaysia (USM)
and “Mee ng the Challenges of a Growing Business through
Management of Produc vity and Rewards" by Mr Michael Ng from
Korn Ferry Hay Group. This was followed by networking cocktails.
