the AMMI Q2 Progress Mee ng in 2015.
Mr John Ward, AMMI Vice-Chairman, a ended the mee ng. Mr Ward 9 March
suggested to explore poten al collabora on with MIDA on the training
of fresh graduates and quality assurance (QA) specialists or a achment MIDA’s Medical Device
of fresh graduates with the industry. AMMI also agreed to take up the Investment Advisory Panel
Chair for the Sub-Industry Working Group (Medical Devices) under the (MDIAP) Mee ng,

Mr Jason Ng (UWC Healthcare Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd.) a ended the
mee ng on behalf of AMMI. The objec ve of this mee ng is to discuss MOF Focus Group Mee ng :
“how to boost our export as the increase in import is faster than export”. Budget 2017 - Enhancing
Export Growth, Putrajaya
23 August Mr Ching Choon Siong (AMMI Secretariat) represented AMMI in the
mee ng. The objec ve of the mee ng is to encourage industry
Human Resource Development associa ons to join HRDF Sectoral Training Commi ee (STC) so that
Fund (HRDF) Sectorial Training industry training programmes can be funded via HRDF Pool Fund by
Commi ee (STC) Membership submi ng proposals for STC's approval. Update 31 August : AMMI
Engagement Session, joined the STC and will con nue to explore ways to help members to
Kuala Lumpur maximise their benefits from the HRDF Pool Fund.
