3. Improving your performance
Talk on a video camera for 10 minutes on a general topic, e.g. about the street
where you grew up.

Watch the video and make notes:

 Which words, phrases, sounds are too formal to you?
 Is there anything interesting on your performance? What?
 Is your performance natural? Why do you think so?
 What do you think you could do to improve your performance?

3. Why do we use connectors in sentences, i.e. what´s their function?
4. How to express different relationships between ideas? Give 2 – 3 examples of

concession, enumeration, result, showing time, stressing a point, giving
examples, emphasising, summarizing, conclusion.
