What our
students say
Coming to college was a positive step for me.
Learning here was so different and I have really enjoyed the course.
I am excited about coming in and learning something I am really
intrigued by. I take it home and I think about it and want to find out more.
Everyone in class is the same. It is such a positive environment. On my
work placement, I found that everything I had learned in class was
relevant and how important all the background knowledge I had covered
was when putting it into practice. I plan to study further or find
employment in a social care setting.

I worked in
hospitality and
retail for years but
I wanted a new
challenge.
I chose childcare.
I have loved the course.
It’s a lot to learn, take in
and process but the
tutors are amazing,
patient and supportive. The most important thing for
me is not only beaming with pride about how much
I’ve learned but the people I have met during this
time. I consider them all friends and love the fact that
we are all helping each other be the best we can be.
I plan to do HNC Childhood Practice next. If you’re
contemplating applying, I say go for it. Start the next
chapter of your life and start it here. One of the best
things I ever did.
