A Message from

                        Adam Goller, President (continued)

night mishmar program for boys, amongst other initatives. The

mishmar is attended by boys all over the neighborhood. The

practical learning of Halacha, such as how to make tzitzis, gives

the boys a true appreciation of the Mitzvah.

Yeshiva Gedolah continues to try and find ways to add

programs and accommodate different interests in learning. The

number and level of bochrim continues to grow, as the interest

in attending the Yeshiva continues to proliferate worldwide.

The kollel continues to thrive and far more of the students

who get married are staying local and learning in the Yeshiva

or working and learning when they have opportunity in the

Yeshiva, while raising their beautiful families. As important, the

number of local residents using the Yeshiva keeps expanding.

Our minyanim have seen increases in the number of people

attending. Night seder is seeing many new faces at various

points during the week. Other programs, such as women’s

shiurim and events, as well as others have been a success. We

continue to try and think of ways that the Yeshiva can increase

                     harbotzas Torah within our community.

Dr. and Mrs. Justin Hirmes are a beautiful example of the

totality of the relationship between the community and Yeshiva.

Justin and his family, anchored by his aishes chayil, have chosen

to make the Yeshiva and our community home. Justin frequents

the Yeshiva for daily sedarim, Shabbos davening, always looking

to help in any way possible. Be it setting up the Kiddush, doing

the small things, or when the morning of the Chanukas Habayis

the Yeshiva had to go rent a truck due to rain, it was him

getting it done in his quiet way. Mrs. Hirmes herself is always

looking to help where possible, including with N’shei events.

Specifically, she organizes the N’shei’s tehilim group, which
