SUGGESTED AMENDS TO MAHSOPA CONSTITUTION

2) Aqua – new clauses inclusion
3) Red – inconsistencies in the clause

AMENDMENT NO 1

All Committee phrases been amended to Executive Committee. The main MAHSOPA committee to
be known as Executive Committee. In short Exco.

Since there are various sub0-commitees being formed, it is felt it would be better to differentiate.
Also the term Exco been used widely in the pass.

AMENDMENTS NO 2
Some grammatical amendments were made

AMENDMENT NO 3

No 8 (k) – the clause included to cover all meeting platform online and offline.

AMENDMENT NO 4

No 9 (a) - Asst Secretary and Asst Treasurer positions dropped and Executive Committee Member
position increased to 5.

The Association doesn’t have a permanent premise where all documents can be stored for common
access thus allowing works of Association to be carried out by the Assistants. The share of workload
between the main office bearers and their assistant is quite difficult to be shared.

AMENDMENT NO 5

No 9 (e) -Inclusion of new clause to recognise the use to email/whatsapp for discussion of urgent
matters and decision-making processes.

AMENDMENT NO 6

No 9 (h) Inclusion of new clause to allow the Executive Committee to appoint up to 3 Exco
Committee Member during its term.
