3.1 There were no matters arising as they will be reported and discussed under item 6.0

4.0 Secretary’s report

4.1 AJK list in e-Roses is not updated with DC & Noorazlan names & designations yet due to
system requirement to have EGM or AGM to effect the changes.

5.0 Treasurer’s report

5.1 MAHSOPA Bank Balance at April 30, 2021 – RM21,019.76.
- About 10-12 claims to settle with 1 lump sum cheque to MM (to save cheque fees)
who will then disburse by Instant Transfer from his own account, then will attached
transfer slip for record & audit purposes.
- Currently MAHSOPA operates 2 bank accounts. 1. CIMB, Current account 2. CIMB, FD
account.
- TSASSF FDs are with CIMB Bank and Maybank.

6.0 Sub-Committee/Project Reports

6.1 Membership (Report by RA)
- No new membership was tabled.
- It was suggested to enlarge our contacts to non-committee members to reach out to
MHS alumni.
- New membership PDF fillable form is available however to be amended to include
Membership Committee Members’ contact numbers.
- RA requested everyone’s help to bring in new members.

6.2 e-Optimist Digitisation (Report by DC)
- Full report presented:
Total issues from 1929 to 2020: 94 issues
Total issues scanned: 59 issues (saved on MAHSOPA laptop)
Total issues not scanned: 35 issues

- From the 35 issues not scanned: 9 issues are at MHS Library; 26 missing issues

- Missing Optimist issues: 1932 / 1933 / 1934 / 1935 / 1936 / 1937 / 1938 / 1940 / 1941
/ 1942 / 1943 / 1944 / 1950 / 1951 / 1953 / 1954 / 1958 / 1959 / 1964 1965 / 1967 /
1976 / 1986 / 2018 / 2019 / 2020

- Ready issues will be posted on MAHSOPA Facebook in PDF format, once the relevant
formatting is complete on MAHSOPA Facebook. Once this is ready, we will also post on
MAHSOPA Facebook to obtain the missing issues, which to be done also after final
confirmation with school on the missing issues especially the recent years issues.
