MAHSOPA Tree Planting Project

2,000 trees towards 200th Anniversary of Malacca High School
MAHSOPA will be organising a "Tree Planting Project" in collaboration with
Malaysia Nature Society.
Our objectives - to beautify Malacca, reduce greenhouse gasses and improve our
natural environment.
Our aim – to plant 500 trees per year over the 4 years to reach 2,000 trees before
200th Anniversary of Malacca High School which will be in year 2026.

Not any tree but our very own Malacca Tree (Phyllanthus Emblica) and Flame of
the Forest (Butea monosperma).
Any MAHSOPA members and/or MHS Alumnus who are interested in this project
kindly contact MAHSOPA committee member
