2. Select the Details button to view more information about the date of service
The Maintenance Log Details page will display showing the Maintenance Type and what was Inspected or
Replaced
3. Select Add Maintenance to add a new Maintenance item
4. Enter name/type of Maintenance in the Notes section
5. Enter Date of Service (if applicable)
6. Enter Hours at Service (if applicable)
Note: Date of Service will default to today’s date and Hours at Service will pull data from the VesselView
Mobile app but can be updated as needed.
7. Select if the item was Inspected or Replaced
8. Select Add

Extended Contracts

Sell extended service contracts on new engines, certified used engines and major assembly parts to customers
to offer them “peace of mind” on their purchase.

Create Contract
• Create new Certified Pre-Owned, Major Assembly, and Product Protection contracts
• Select Create Contract from the Extended Contracts menu

Certified Pre-Owned
Mercury Certified Pre-Owned program allows you to purchase a 1- or 2-year extended service contract on
engines that have undergone a detailed inspection and have been certified by the factory or you, the dealer.
1. Select Certified Pre-Owned for the Contract Type
2. Select the radio button for either Dealer Certified Engine or Factory Certified Engine
o Dealer Certified refers to used engines that have been traded into an authorized Mercury
Marine Dealer and have undergone detailed inspections and maintenance/repair services to
certify the engine to meet defined Mercury standards
o Factory Certified refers to used engines that have undergone detailed inspections and
maintenance/repair services at a Mercury Remanufacturing facility where the engine is certified
to meet strict standards and receives a one-year Parts and Accessories warranty
3. Enter the Serial Number
4. Select Create Quote

Dealer Certified
5 5. . Select I Agree to verify you have completed all necessary inspections as stated on the CPO
Inspection Sheet and you have sent the sheet to Mercury
