Exhaust Manifold Identification

The following information has been developed to aid in the visual identification of the aluminum and cast iron exhaust manifolds
without water rails. The aluminum exhaust manifold is equipped with two 3/4 in. drain plugs located in each end of the exhaust
manifold. The cast iron exhaust manifold is equipped with a single 3/8 in. drain plug located in one end of the exhaust manifold.
The cast iron exhaust manifold is also equipped with one expansion plug located in a casting boss on the upper edge of the
exhaust manifold.
