MHD Modular Boring Heads

The Italian made MODULHARD’ANDREA (MHD) is a modular conical coupling
comes in nine sizes, ensuring the interchangibility of all the elements of the sys- metalworking
tem that includes basic attachments HSK, DIN, BT e CAT, tool holder extensions,
reductions, and tool adapters.
MHD’ Series allow for boring, milling, drilling, and tapping operations to be done
with extreme exibility and rigiditfor machining diameters from 2,5 to 2500 mm,

The MHD’ line of comprehensive system oer roughing double-bit heads and the
centesimal and micrometricTestarossa nishing heads with 2 micron of sensitive
tuning adjustment.

TR-Elettra innovates the industry as the radial displacement of the toolholder
slide can be viewed on a built–in LCD display with maximum speed and accu-
racy of adjustment. Extensive range from 2.5 mm to 2,700 mm. Depends on
the size of the head selected, each are built to conform to ISO 26623-1.
TRC head were designed with a radial correction of 5 micron which can be
directly altered on the machine with its easily congurable vernier scale.
TRM heads of D’Andrea Testarossa is protected with rustproof black coating.
Excellent surface nish can be achieved by TRM boring heads. Depends on
model, a radial correction of 1 micron can be eected even when attached
the machine and easily read on the vernier scale.

TRD head is a rigid double-bit heads for both roughing and precision nish.
The sensitive sliding mechanism can achieve radial correction of 5 micron.
