TA-CENTER boring & facing heads are made for machines
with automatic tool change. A U-Drive unit commands the
feed control of the tool slide and the tool placement even
during rotation.

The Autoradial interchangeable arbor uses the same locking system as Modulhard MHD’.
Engineered with automatic feed and quick return of the slide, tool can be adjusted without
the need of stopping or reversing the spindle of the machine tool.

Available in 3 models: AR 100, AR 125 and AR 160; Autoradial have a uid feed and quick return.
To change the necessary feed, some interchangeable opt of gear blocks are also available, for feeds
in mm/rev. of: 0.05; 0.10; 0.20; 0.40; 0.60 and a quick return of 0.08 mm/rev.
AUTORADIAL

Italian made, TA-Tronics Heads are designed with automatic balancing for numerical control boring
and facing, which are applied manually, automatically, and with palletized systems, on boring ma-
chines, machining centers, and special machinery.
TA-Tronic boring and facing heads can be manually or automatically applied on small boring mac-
hines, machining centers and special machines.
Connection with the machine tool spindle occurs through a cone for the rotation of the rotating
head and a ange for fastening the xed body on to the xed part of the machine.

For lighter tasks a simple anti-rotation pin may be used.

U-TRONIC are medium and large sized NC heads that are connected to the U axis of
U-TRONIC the NC in the machine tool for outer facing, inner facing, back-facing, cylindrical and
conical boring and threading, concave and convex corner rounding through interpo-
lation with the other axes of the machine tool.
Available in 6 models from ø 360 to ø 1000 mm, all models include internal passage
for coolant. Special versions of U-TRONIC, with two slides or with counterweights for
self-balancing, can be supplied upon request. Fixed toolholders are also applicable
to the slide, with either manual or automatic tool change.
