The Five Golden Tickets – Meet the Winners
The first Golden Ticket was found by a boy called
Augustus Gloop. He loved eating. Augustus was also
greedy and would not share his food with anybody.
His parents would just let him indulge in all the food
than listen to him whine.
On the day before Charlie Bucket’s birthday, the
newspapers announced that the second Golden
Ticket had been found. The lucky person was a girl
called Veruca Salt who lived with her rich parents.
Veruca was a spoilt brat. She demanded everything
from her parents. She threw tantrums when her
needs were not met.
The third ticket was found by a Miss Violet
Beauregarde. Violet enjoyed chewing gum the whole
day. She chewed gum obsessively and boasted she
chewed the same piece of gum for three months. She
was also competitive and hated losing.
