Did you really think it was going to be this simple? Think harder and remember you
shall not leave this place until you complete the quest’.

Being the short-tempered character he is, Jeremy stomped irritably before going
back to his motive : to get all the treasure to himself. Mischievously coming up with a
plan to manipulate Audrey, he smirked before turning back. Opposite of him, Audrey
was pacing back and forth, wondering what it was she missed.

“AHA! Grandma used to tell me that her prized possessions were kept in the
bedroom, that way they are closest to her '', screamed Audrey, now gaining a hint of
               hope.

The creaking of the wooden floorboards intensified as they rushed to the final
destination, revealing an abandoned master bedroom. This time, the condition was
worse, there was water leaking from holes the size of a basketball. Audrey was right,
revealing a brown envelope with a million dollar check. With great joy comes great
               sorrow they say.

Sudden movement to this fragile house heavily impacted the structure, none
of them saw this coming. Within seconds, the ceiling came smashing down behind
Audrey. In shock, she was unable to move, frozen in her actions. Jeremy only had
seconds to decide : Will he bring home the check alone or save Audrey?

Contemplating between his family’s disappointed reactions and being the
bigger person, he had no time to lose, swiftly grabbing her arm to pull her from the
rapidly collapsing room. Adrenaline in their veins as they reached out for the main
door. As the door shut behind them, the previously enormous mansion rumbled to
               the ground in seconds.

They stared at each other in disbelief, still panting with panic in their breaths.
A million thoughts were running through Jeremy’s mind starting from the
destruction of their family home but he decided not to and instead patted her back
in consolation. Without knowing it, they had both helped each other when they
               needed it most.

Audrey proposed, "What if we use the money to rebuild Grandma's childhood
home,it’s what she would’ve wanted right?" Jeremy only nodded, with no other
               response.

This was, indeed, the beginning of their long-awaited reconciliation.
