Dave swiftly overtook the man with three swift strides. He took his flashlight to
allow the light to fall towards the face of the suspect, identifying him. Dave sank
to the floor.

It was his brother, Jack Jones. Jack brandished the sharp glistening blade at
Dave. Determined to solve the case and arrest his brother, he quickly recovered
from the shock. Dave quickly scrambled for his gun, aiming it at Jack, holding
him at gunpoint. He quickly called his colleagues for backup, in which they

arrived 4 minutes later.

Jack was arrested, held on trial and found guilty . Dave rejoiced that he had
avenged his rival. No matter what insults Sam threw at him, Dave still respected
him as a fellow detective and even a friend.
