“I promise I will take care of your child.”, I murmured while pursing my lips.
With closed watery eyes, I kneeled in front of the boulder of what used to be an
entrance to the cave and reminisced about my moments with her.
After wiping the tears off my face, I headed on my journey back into the real
world. Looking back at the huge boulder once more, I craved into my memory of
the unforgettable experience I had gotten. As I walked back into the forest, I
found my teammates looking for me.
“Where have you been? We have been looking for you for hours!”, the leader
exclaimed in relief.
“What do you mean? I thought I have been gone for at least a month-”, I shut my
mouth. I realized that there was something Cynthia did not teach me.
