Jane sighed in disappointment as she said yes, she went back to her room and lay down on
her bed scrolling through her phone as she had nothing to do. All of the sudden, she just
remembered her friends talking about a dark web and she wanted to see something
interesting but she realized that the dark web has a lot of scary things. However, Jane just
shoved it off as she thought it was halloween and it could be fun.

When her parents had already gone out, she went through her laptop searching for the
dark web at night, not long later she found something that piqued her interest there, it said
having a virtual friend. She clicked it and it said that you could talk to a friend online.

When she entered it, she was met with an unknown person with their camera turned off.
“Um, why is your camera turned off?”, Jane asked that person.

“I just don’t like other people to see my face,” answered the unknown person.
“Oook?”, Jane replied awkwardly.

As time went by, Jane and the unknown person began to slowly get to know each other. It
turns out that the unknown person’s name is Ryan, he lives in Canada and is 17 years old.
They began to talk about what they like, their hobbies and other things in their life.

However, Ryan asked Jane a simple question, “What is your favourite colour?”

“My favourite colour is black because it could also be a good mixture with other colours
and I also like dark colours and black is my favourite one,” Jane replied.

“Oh, your favourite is black. Well, if you like the colour black, do you like this then?”

As soon as Ryan said that, all the lights in her house went off, Jane was surprised by what
just happened and her laptop also went off. Jane likes the colour black but not like this. She
tried to turn on her laptop but it didn't work even though she tried many times. Jane was
about to call her parents, however, she heard a creak downstairs. She used her flashlight to
see what was going on but when she saw what’s going on, she saw nothing. Suddenly, she
heard a loud bang coming from the kitchen, not willing to risk herself, Jane immediately ran
to her room upstairs and hid under her bed. She called the police and told them her
situation and her location, she hung up her phone and waited for the police to arrive.

However, the person, who broke into her house, went to her room, it looked like an old man,
he smelled alcoholic and seemed like he hadn’t take a shower for months, he was also
around 198 cm tall and had a butcher knife in his hand.
“Come out! Come out wherever you are, little girl!”, he said with an insane look on his face.

He was trying to find Jane in her room but not long after the police had arrived with her parents,
the man escaped while the police chased after him. After the police had finally arrested that
man, who was actually a murderer who break out of prison years ago, Jane thought to herself
that she would not ever go to the dark web again because all these things happened when she
